Moving Stones is a Tarrant County nonprofit working at the intersection of workforce development and community access. We partner with Texas Workforce Solutions and certified training providers to fund entry-level medical education for those who qualify.

A Complete Pathway to Employment
We support individuals from the first application through job placement. Every step is designed to reduce barriers and increase your success.
Funding Assistance
Funding based on Texas Workforce Commission guidelines. Covers tuition, materials, books, and supplies at no out-of-pocket cost to participants.
Career Readiness
Before enrollment, participants attend an etiquette and professional development orientation to prepare them for the workplace — not just the classroom.
Certified Training Programs
Participants are referred directly to Stone Academy for enrollment in industry-recognized, credential-bearing healthcare programs.
Job Placement Access
After training, participants access Caregiver Career Match — our partner platform connecting trained individuals directly with healthcare employers.

Begin Intake ApplicationApplications reviewed on a rolling basis. Completing an application does not guarantee enrollment or funding.
Training Pathway
Choose Your Program
After approval, you will be referred to Stone Academy. You may choose one, two, or all three programs.
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
Provide direct patient care under a licensed nurse. One of the most in-demand entry-level healthcare credentials in Texas.
EKG Technician
Perform electrocardiograms and monitor heart rhythms. Opens doors in hospitals, clinics, and cardiology practices.
Phlebotomy Technician
Master blood collection and specimen processing. Needed in hospitals, labs, blood banks, and doctor's offices statewide.
Complete All Three → Earn Your Patient Care Technician (PCT) Credential
Completing all three programs qualifies you as a Patient Care Technician — a highly versatile, in-demand role. Visit Stone Academy →
